Watamu Marine National Park
[TheChamp-Sharing]Watamu Marine National Park and Reserve was established in 1968 by the Kenyan government under the institution of Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS). It is part of a complex of marine and tidal habitat along the Kenya’s north coast.
Habitats and attractions include inter-tidal rock, sand and mud, fringing reefs and coral gardens, coral cliffs, sandy beaches, the Mida Creek Mangrove Forest, Gedi Ruins and Bird Watch from the abundant bird life in the area.

- Glass bottom boat rides
Watamu Marine Park is part of a UN recognized World Biosphere Reserve and is under the management of Kenya Wildlife Service.
