Lake Rutundu

Lake Rutundu is housed in the volcanic crater on the flank of Mount Kenya, 3078 meters above sea level. Maximum depth is 11 meters. This lake is stocked with rainbow trout, providing fishing opportunities for visitors in the nearby cabins.

The surrounding environment in Lake Rutundu offers spectacular views and most stunning crystal clear blur waters.  A small rowing boat is available and being a very deep, fish well over two pounds can be caught on a regular basis which makes it an ideal have for fishing lovers.
