Kisite Mpunguti Marine National Park

The most colourful coral gardens lie in the southern most point of Kenya’s coastline where you will find Kisite Mpunguti Marine National Park about 40km from Mombasa town and 4-5km from Wasini and Shimoni island.  This ecosystem covers a marine area with four small islands encircled by over 250 marine species and coral reefs which form the major attraction in this area.

Kisite island is covered in low grass and herbs while Mpunguti islands have dense coastal equatorial forest.  This offers an ideal location for bird watching, diving and snorkeling.

Kisite Mpunguti Marine National Park fall is part of the National Parks in Kenya under The Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) management.
